Heide Park sits in the Lüneburg Heath and holds an unusual density of superlatives: Colossos was the world's steepest wooden coaster at opening, Krake was Germany's first dive coaster, and Flug der Dämonen is one of Europe's longest wing coasters. Scream's 103-metre drop tower is visible from the car park.

The theming is lighter than Phantasialand's, but the ride roster and short queues make it the best pure-thrill day in northern Germany.
