Privacy Policy
ParkRank Global is a read-only editorial index. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no advertising network embedded in the site.
What we store
We do not ask for or store personal information. Two features keep small amounts of data in your own browser, and nothing is sent to our servers:
- Compare selections — the parks you add to the compare tray are kept in session storage and cleared when you close the tab.
- Recently viewed — the last few parks you opened are kept in local storage so the homepage can show them again.
Clearing your browser storage removes both immediately.
Cookies
ParkRank sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. The compare and recently-viewed features described above use browser storage, not cookies.
Third-party content
Park photography is served from Unsplash and map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap. When those assets load, the providers receive your IP address and browser user-agent as part of the standard request, governed by their own privacy policies.
