The index
Best Theme Parks in the World, Ranked #1–50
The complete ranking of the world’s best amusement parks, scored on thrills, family appeal, value and wait times. Filter by country, region, park type or price, or open the map to plan a trip.
These theme park rankings cover a curated index, not every park in operation. Each overall score combines editorial thrill and family ratings with sourced price and wait-time inputs; the ratings are compared against the same group whenever the index is recalculated. A rank is a starting point, not a substitute for choosing the right park for your group. Read the full methodology before comparing scores.

Which ranking fits your trip?
This is the complete worldwide ranking, with filters for destination, price and park type. For a focused itinerary, the top 20 amusement parks in the world puts the first ten beside the challengers in places 11–20, with notes on what makes each worth considering. For a ride-specific question, which park has the most roller coasters? separates coaster inventories from overall ride counts; the coaster-lineup ranking instead compares high-intensity rides within our indexed parks.
