Universal Studios Beijing opened in September 2021 as the biggest Universal park ever built, with seven themed lands including a full Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Transformers Metrobase and Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness — the last of these unique to Beijing. It scaled to roughly nine million annual visitors within two years.
