We considered exposure, the sensation of the launch or first drop, inversion-heavy layouts and how much time there is to recover between elements. Published height, speed and inversion figures give each entry a factual anchor, but the order is our editorial judgment. Someone afraid of heights may find a tower launch worse than a seven-inversion circuit; someone else will feel the opposite.
